Nakshbandia and Sect of Meshur Jusup Kopeyuli
The Nakshibendia sect which has been established by Muhammed Bahaeddin Nakshibend (1318 -1389) is the populest Sunni sect in the İslamic World since 14 centry. This sect has become populated near Buhara specially among Turkish Uzbek, Tataria, Kazakhs and Turkmen like as the biggest Turkish community. The Naqshibandy, which combines both the sacred and the zahiric systems, has gained great popularity among the Sufis. With the administration of Abu Yamişkub Yûsuf Hemedanî, who was considered as the founder ancestor of the two sects, the Naqshbandiah sect with Yeseviahyah order was adopted in Central Asia and expanded its influence more rapidly. The fundamental distinction between these two sects lies in the invocation method. Meshur Jusup Kopeyulı (1858-1931) is one of the most prominent figures of the Naqshbandi order in this land. During his religious education, he was taught by different professors and he also served as a missionary in order to spread the religion of Islam. From the mystical aspect of all the works he wrote, we can see from his behavior in social life that the poet undoubtedly holds the path of the Naqshbandi sect.
